1. Why choose beginner group classes?

Selecting an excellent mentor is crucial. A great instructor not only helps children learn more effectively but also equips them with proper training & learning that can benefit them for a lifetime.

 

The foundation class is designed for young beginners, focusing on building a strong musical foundation, preparing them to confidently engage in school music classes, and establish a strong foundation for their future advanced music studies.

2. What goal can my child achieve after taking group classes?

Children will learn the fundamentals of cello playing, including proper sitting posture, basic rhythm, and musical dynamics. This foundational training will help them with any school music programs and lay a solid groundwork for more advanced musical studies in future.

3. What’s the cost of group classes?

The course fees can be paid in two ways:

  1. Monthly Payment Plan – Tuition is $188 per month, paid in three installments for 3 months. An additional $200 deposit is required, which will be refunded at the end of the course. However, if the student is discontinued midway, the deposit will not be refunded.

  2. One-Time Payment Discount – A one-time payment of $500 is available at a discounted rate with no deposit required. However, if the course is discontinued midway, the tuition fee is non-refundable.

4. How long is the group class program?

Each group classes program consists of one lesson per week, with each lesson 50 minutes. The full program runs for 3 months, 12 lessons in total.

5.  Do we need to prepare cello or music books?

Yes. A purchased ready or rental cello is required, please contact us to learn how to purchase or rent a cello for beginner. The music materials will be included in the program.

6. What if my child doesn’t have any music experience?

Not a problem at all. The beginner group class is specifically designed for children with no prior experience. While having learned another instrument can be helpful, it is not a required pre-condition.

7. What is the group class size, is there a limit number?

The beginner group class follows a small-class teaching model, ensuring more effective assistance for each young student. The class size ranges from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 students per group.

 

8. Can I sign up if the group class already begins?

The beginner course will accommodate each student's learning progress after the start of the program. New students interested in enrolling can join the next beginner program. Please contact us and stay updated on the next starting date of the new course.

 

9. I signed up for the group class, but found my child has schedule conflicts, can I ask for a makeup session or refund?

The beginner class follows a small group teaching format, allowing for personalized attention to each child's learning progress. If a child misses a class, there will be no extra make-up sessions or refunds provided.

 

10. If my child finishes the beginner program, can my child continue to study and keep learning further?

Sure! Students can continue to improve by advancing to higher-level individual courses to refine their skills, they can also enroll in coming group courses opportunities. Each step of the learning process is designed to gradually build upon the previous one, helping students progress at a comfortable pace. 11. I have signed up for my child, what’s the next step?

After completing the registration, please prepare the necessary instrument for learning and wait for class notifications with more details. If you need further assistance with renting a cello, please do not hesitate to contact us.
